I know senile folks in their 60's doesn't meant they all are. He is clearly old and going a little soft in the head I agree but he is still the boss which means he cannot be told not to do or say something. Simply put we are talking about a guy who has clearly lost some of his facilities. In that context I have heard far worse.
It's not like Arsenal wanting to change the name to Gunners because that's a nickname, Tigers is a nickname and it's official. I gave up at that point and went to make brew. I'm hitting the sauce when I get back from picking junior junior up from school. Anyone care to join me? You know it makes sense.
SB will be the first to be poached! I only hope someone comes in and bankrolls the club. mind you were not that attractive as we dont even own our own ground
If David Conn is right then this isn't about the name thing and he is selling but wants some space to get it done.
Who knows what's going to happen. He Isn't going anywhere until he finds a buyer. How can he just give it away? He also said he remains committed to the team until a buyer is found. Our players won't be going and even if they did worse things happen.
Yeh so I think that shows it isn't even really about the name change even if he does just go on about that. Certainly more will be aware now, and I'd guess we'd be a better priced alternative to Everton, Aston Villa, Tottenham and Newcastle who are apparently up for sale too.
All the pro name changers need to wake up and see through the constant bull**** he spouts. It's always been about the council. He pretty much gave that away at the start.
Rick ‏@HullCityLive Just heard - #hcafc have called a press conference for 2pm tomorrow to answer all the questions caused by this one!
Given that Assem is/was the best owner we have ever had in terms of investment and success and a minority of ****wits who preferred City when we were in the lower leagues have pissed him off so much he's bailing out - PROBABLY ZERO. Steve Bruce can go to Newcastle and we will end up with someone like Moyes or Pulis. God help us. Still, the minority will be happy when it all goes tits up.
Iv always been an Allam supporter, but now i feel its gone to far, and he has to sell, and he and the Club can hopefully move on, i think its best all for parties I do support Mr Allam, but sadly he is not cut out to be a Football Club owner, I still respect him though
why is it a "THEM and US" mentality? I cant find anyone that was pro-name-change, there was the backwards thinkers that were like stig in the mud and couldn't bare change and then those that didn't give a ****
There are no pro-name changers as far as I'm aware. They just want Allam to stay and going by his ridiculous ballot, that meant you had to vote Yes to Hull Tigers in order to support him. Although, and quoting from his interview, he's "not dictatorial".
