I was famous for my really aggressive tackling in Football.

I think about how these challenges would be in pro football and I dont think I'd even get a yellow for most.

Damn drama queen kids. I was to scared to tackle in secondary school at the risk of never having cool sporty friends.

I didn't play football for years. I could never remember who was on my team and who wasn't, so to be safe I tackled everyone. Everyone got annoyed with me so I lost interest. Started again a few years later.

I used to play by myself, coming up with stories and acting them out. I think people got concerned about me, but since I wasn't playing football it was either that or hang out with the girls (which wasn't interesting at that point).

My football highlight was probably when we had a match of Liverpool fans against Man U (and Rangers) fans, to see which team was best. I managed to save a penalty (and the rebound), and then shortly after scored the winning goal moments before the end. I was well chuffed.

  5. I was referring to the fair hair more than the blonde but I suspect you knew that...

I didn't get a bald patch. Mine receded from front to back. I briefly had a Alan Shearer tuft too...

  6. I was a quick winger or full back (unfortunately resulting in playing WB as was the time) when at school. I was very quiet and rarely got stuck in either. Mainly because I was a short skinny little ****er that weighed about 7st wet through <laugh>

I'm not as quick anymore (thank you to age) but I never back out a challenge, in fact often go looking for one when someones annoyed me. Certainly not quiet on the pitch anymore either.

That's the one. We were milk monitors so delivered the milk to the classrooms whilst rest of the school was in assembly. One of the perks was any leftover milk when we collected the plastic boxes back, usually due to illness/absentees, was ours. There was a flu epidemic so we thought all the left overs were ours and after drinking enough to feel a bit sick we thought it would be great fun to through the remaining cartons around. Unfortunately the members of the public at the nearby bus stop who were hit by about 5 gallons of milk did not share the enthusiasm that us 11yr old soon to be deposed milk monitors did for the jape.
