He's "reasonably confident with the appeal as its not damaging the club. Tigers is part of our name as it is" "if the fans want to sit and worship the name then he's sorry he bought the club" "his intention was to save us and promote the quality of football" "misunderstanding at the time, maybe partly his mistake and he apologises. If he knew he would get this reaction I wouldn't have bought it" if there is no buyer and his appeal fails? "give it away"
OOOOH someone just asked him about the name change being to do with the council! And Allam completely batted it down by not answering the question.
Oh i totally agree, I just don't like the personal digs at him. He has his reasoning and reasons and he's allowed. He might be mad or stupid, or both but I still respect his choices. I respectfully disagree.
"the money i was going to spend on the infrastructure of the club (stadium and stuff) I have spent more financing losses"
"there was a sponsor for the teams (no names mention) we had an offer in writing from the far east for THAT much. The day the FA said no they withdrew. Its £1milion a year less."
So we now have Burnsy's jacket and the Doctor ripping the club's sponsors. Well this is a fantastic press conference. "Is the club not washing it's face financially as Hull City?" Here we go, well done Burnsy.
I didn't understand what he said about arsenal, They couldn't apply to be arsenal gunners because gunners is the nickname and shouldn't be added to the name arsenal. But tigers is ok because it's part if our name, I thought our name was hull city and tigers was our nickname or am I wrong
