I haven't given off any indication that I'm 'offended', nor was it an over reaction (it was barely a reaction). Bleating on about it on the multiple monikas you sign in as does not give off the impression that you aren't complaining. It definitely bothers you (somehow)!

If Shteve = No One Famous, as I believe, then he has always been like it. Its weird as ****, I once admonished someone for duplicating a thread that was already being covered, and he jumped in and said whilst he agreed with my sentiment, it wasn't my place as a Chelsea fan to police the United board Really, really ****ing odd.

I do! Not606 would be boring as **** if we all had to stick to our own teams boards. Especially since the Chelsea board is about as lively as a cadaver right now.
In NOF's defence on that issue, while supporters of other clubs are more than welcome at all times when it comes down to certain, shall we say policing, issues it should come down to the forum moderators. As tiresome as that is, trust me!!! I take no pride in doing it but on occasion it does need doing. For instance when I believed Matth was taking way too much **** I tried to crack down, and in doing so effectively told you to **** off and leave me too it! Otherwise there may as well just be some actual bone fide moderators who police the whole forum. Like 606.
I get ya. Matth did start getting a lot of ****, and it did get out of hand, and I was one of the people who got angry with his actions, but he is a somewhat special case. I think people have just resigned themselves to the fact now that Matth is Matth and will never change. And the loveable Welsh scrote does grow on you after a while.
It's like watching Clouseau and Cato having a discussion about a suspect... Why you've both got your knickers in a twist about this is beyond me! I have visited other boards and they are largely populated by fans of that club, that's not the case on this board, just an observation and a fact, not a complaint but if it helps you to view it that way then I can't stop you! What I will say for the United mods and posters is that they are far more tolerant and welcoming than many of the others. I visited the Arsenal board around the time Welbeck was signed and it was like being in the middle of a pack of rabid dogs! I guess it just confirms that everyone's interested in United! The gooners board is an absolute joke, a lot of over sensitive nancys over there! One of the reasons this board is probably the best is that it has a lot of United fan followers and the attitude to the rival fans is pretty open and the mods are sensible in the most part. United are the biggest supported club so its no surprise this board gets a lot of traffic. But allowing rival fans to post here without it getting silly like the Arsenal board (the RAWK comparison was spot on) is why it works. Also and I've said it before, generally the United fans' reactions to the inevitable stick and jokes they have got in the last year or so is commendable. Could have been ban central round here but thankfully not.
