First Game of the Season

As we play Blackpool in the 1st game thought you might like to know of their possible signings, Charlie Adam has now said that he want's to go to Liverpool, they are going to pay 8 mil plus send Jon Jo Shelvey, Danny Wilson (who they signed from Rangers) and Stephen Darby on season long loans.
Are these the type of loan deals we will be looking at.

 

Shelvey's a top midfielder, only 18 and already has a fair few games under Dalglish (despite injuries). The other two should be good in the Championship as well.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Blackpool have to offer next season - nobody thinks they'll be promotion contenders, but we all know what happened in the 09/10 season when they were favourites for the drop!

There is no way Shelvey and Wilson would want to go there, both played regularish for Liverpool once Dalglish was there and are regulars on the bench, why swap that for Blackpool?

Anyone ever see Shelvey play for Liverpool and not look like a complete donkey?

 

I saw him play, but I don't think I looked liked a donkey. More of an ass probably

 

My only worry about having to play Blackpool early in the season is that some of the players expected to make summer moves may not go until closer to deadline day, so may well feature against City. We all know they like to attack, which could play into our hands as we seem better as a counter attacking team. I think we'll be better prepared for the start of the season this time around, with a number of regular faces having their first full pre-season with the club. Just need to get a couple of keepers signed sharpish.
