Well said Chesh. I was pleased for the lad. He has had some horrendous injuries in last few years, but has never stopped believing
Who would you play instead. He's better than Jack Wilshire that's for ****ing sure. Infact, it makes me sad seeing Wilshire these days compared to a few years ago when he tore Barcelona a new one. Seems to have completely lost his way.
He played very well and showed lots of energy. Last night was by far and away the toughest competitive match England will play until Euro 2016 itself. Woy may as well play him all the time until then. Further international experience will only help him. Well played Delph. Did we finish last night's match with the most amount of academy representatives by the way?
I do think Wilshere should be absolutely no where near the team now, has lost his way so much and unless he starts to up his game to a level it used to be I don't think he can be considered. And then you look beyond Henderson and there really is absolutely nothing, Delph really would've entered Woy's mind a lot more after that performance and he could see himself holding down a position in the starting line-up for the foreseeable future. CM really is a position that you worry about when you look at the England team these days
Just shows what we lost in the last few years. Not entirely out of the question that an England midfield could be/could have been Lennon, Delph, Howson & Milner. Heyho, we move on.
look to the future my friend: ---------------Cook--------------- -----Mowatt----------Dawson------ ---------------Stokes-------------
Sid Nelson a future England captain Jack Powell Alfie Pavey All destined for big futures. Jake Goodman and Josh Siafa are maybe's as well.
Sounds more like the cast for Eastenders, come on you dopey barstewards, your from Bermondsy. When was the last time any team from your manor represented even your manor
