TBH Chazz I'm normally dead set against PLT but I'm in agreement that your arguement seems to strangely be 'hoping' more than anything else.

It's his normal methodology; create a circus, expect the fools to clap and wonder why his genius isn't understood or agreed with. Don't expect too much.

Noticed a few of the news stories of the press conference use this, as if it has come from the club: "referencing the future of Hull City Tigers".

Although, I haven’t seen the actual press release verbatim.

From that, you’d have to say that the chances of there being a threat or two, within whatever he has to say, has just increased.

Not really, he's always thought the club's name was Hull City Tigers for some reason.

I think people need to get things into perspective! im more worried that assam allam is selling the club than changing the word city in our name, I hope the CTWD will be happy if we get an owner like vincent tan! Who will sack bruce if he loses 3 games, will pobably have us playing in different colours! I really hope you will be happy!! ......its a bloody word! Weve always been the tigers! Stop been a bunch of women!

Or we could get a owner like Roman Abramovich or Khaldoon Al Mubarak (man city owner) would YOU praise the so called work of CTWD if that happens? Will you **** like.
If he wants to sell its because he sees this as his best chance at getting top dollar for the club, and not selling because he has spat his dummy out on a name change.

I know Assem likes the sound of his own voice, but it does sound a bit OTT to have a Press Conference to announced you're stepping down and allowing your son to take charge.

Just issue a statement saying you're stepping down, good luck to Ehab and then ride off into the sunset on a camel.

CTWD have never campaigned for a new owner, they merely campaigned to retain our name.

Though I fully expect AA will take a pop at CTWD tomorrow.

    Fact -
The club will be put up for sale officially tomorrow.
    No prospective buyers at present.
Ehab will be the chairman until the club is sold to oversea the sale, if no buyer found at the end of the season expect liquidation of assets.
The investment for the new signings was solely to make the club look to be a more viable investment.
60mil is A sort after sale .This price will more or less break even with the investments and last season PL payment`s.
Parachute payments and sale of players if relegated.
No sale of club at end of season will lead to liquidation.

6 month ago Dr Allam said he would walk,He also said it would take 6 month, approximately to to put the club up for sale.
CTWD buffoons thought he was calling their bluff.I didn't think CTWD was that naive, and that`s aimed at the founder as well.
All you had to do was look at his past history to realise Dr Allam was a man of his word.
If this was a simple case of handing down to Ehab he would not of called for a national news conference, Think about it.

    The reason for sale -
No prospect of owning the KC or extending if premiership was sustained - Thank`s to the left wing bureaucratic corrupt HCC.
Name change to promote the team in the asian and overseas market`s, hence the season pass and ticket price rice - thank`s to the FA and minority support group`s I.e CTWD.
The negativity ungratefulness and sheer disrespect of these particular groups towards a chairman who wanted to pay his debt to Hull Tigers.Thrown back in his face.
Before anyone quote`s the likes of Man City.We all know they don't own their stadium.MC already have a 60k stadium that was recently extended from 55k to bring season passes down to 299 a year, in the extended area .Oh and they have a good relationship with the owners of the stadium.Hence the agreed extension.

Their`s no Russian billionaire buyer`s out there - get real,do you think a billionaire would invest in a club without a stadium, a militant one sighted left wing council & minority negative fanbase (CTWD) that influences FAs decisions.
Another point regarding the Russian billionair story.Do you really think something so controversial could be kept under wrap`s,not a chance!

The negative attitude some Supporters have ,is beyond comprehension.
They can't see past Boothferry park.I say give your seat up to someone who can.and go and support Ferriby.

The press conference is solely to get Dr Allam`s gripes across, regarding the name change,HCC ,the FA`s ,decisions and the mindless ungrateful short sightedness group`s of the so called minority fanbase, the likes of CTWD.

To reiterate, Hull City Tigers will be up for sale OFFICIALLY TOMORROW if no buyer are found, expect Liquidation at the end of the season.
No more best time in our history,no more big player names and no more Steve Bruce.

    You've dared to dream.
    End of..

Try looking in the dictionary for the words there and their! The Asian market eh? Is that why they put up the prices because of the price of rice?

Havnt you gone back to school yet?

The club was put up for sale as soon as we were promoted, the Allam's have been talking to a propective buyer for weeks, though I've no idea if a deal has been done or not.

Hull City fans did not want the name changed, I don't mean CTWD members, I mean all Hull City fans. Some thought that the Alam's should be allowed to do what they wanted, but nobody actually wanted us to be called Hull Tigers.

The name change was never about raising extra revenue, it was never going to raise extra revenue, it was just a one man crusade against Hull City Council and it was pathetic.

The council would love to sell the stadium, if a new owner comes in and wants to buy it, he can have it.

The Russian billionaire thing is almost certainly complete bollocks.

I fully expect AA to take a pop at all sorts of people tomorrow, including CTWD, I saw someone on Twitter this morning, saying they expect a 'weapons grade rantathon' and I expect they won't be disappointed.

Nobody liquidates a £90m turn-over company that's not loosing money, you'd have to be completely mental and though AA is a little bonkers, he's certainly not an idiot.

Other than that, you're bang on. <doh>

Why do people feel the need to blame Ctwd? All they did was lobby the name change. It's just a target to point at hut the facts are there was a large number of people who backed the no campaign who have signed that flag!

I keep hearing small minority, does that mean that everyone who was busting a gut singing Ctwd at the palace home game protest is to blame? Get a grip.

It would be quite funny if he has called a press conference just to moan about everyone.

They may already have the FA clearance or maybe getting it as we speak, hence the reason no announcement till Thursday. Mind you surprised no leak from the FA, if either true.
