On the players to watch bit on the wales online site "Gabriel Riera: By day he fits car stereos for a living, tonight he will be out to try and make the most of any half-chances the Andorrans might find coming their way. Has got pedigree too – his one goal came against the Czech Republic in Liberec, all be it in an 8-1 defeat nine years ago. Still, there are still those Wales fans who remember Andy Selva and San Marino."
Just had a look where Andorra is! What is the point of being a tiny country on the Spanish/France border? Is it EU money?
It's not in the EU - and it's a cracking place. Its tourism and tax laws make it a pretty wealthy little country. The only problem is the mix of languages there - it's largely split between French and Spanish, but I once tried to order some food and drinks in (reasonable) French and got nowhere, so I tried in (pidgin) Spanish and she still didn't get it. Turns out they were all Catalan speakers in that restaurant. (And my Spanish must have been crap.)
It's a principality. Ironically, one of the Co-Princes of Andorra is the President of France, and the only person in the world to be head of state for both a republic and a monarchy.
I thought Chester did well throughout, if he did miss a pass before the pen the goal wasn't his fault as it should never have been given, yet another bad referee following our players around
Age of Andorra, over 700. Age of EU, barely 20. I realise I've not given a unit there. So let's use ACs.
