Am I going mad or did I see something on sky news just after 5pm with the words Hull City and Investigation into Ownership? I was chatting to someone at the time and out of the corner of my eye that's what I thought I saw for just a split second. Anyone else see it ?? There's nothing on sky sports web-site, I can't access TV at the moment so don't know if it's been repeated or not.
He may be retiring full stop. From everything. The press conference may well be to allow him to thank the people of Hull for taking him in, edited highlights of his life as a businessman, announce more donations to charity and perhaps saying what owning and running Hull City meant to him. Finally he could wish Ehab luck.
He's called a full press conference. He is then going to open the floor up for questions IIRC. This doesn't strike me as a leaving announcement.
I really dont want it to be some Russian oligarch, it maybe that. But if it isnt.... The more it looks likely he's going to call it on with the Fa about a name change. Or he's sacking Brucey....
Listening to Carpet Burns on Blunder it would appear that AA is going to announce that he has or is selling the club...Burnsy, forever, with his finger on the pulse of everything Hull City AFC, seems to think this will be the likely scenerio. I tend to think he might be on the money...Now there's a first...
They have been in talks with potential new owners for weeks. If the club is sold and goes from strength to strength there will be certain people on here full of praise for Allam's enterprise and foresight. If the club is sold and goes downhill I'm sure CTWD will get the blame.

As has been mention on here today, city's been up for sale for a while now, so why now have a press conference now to announce its up for sale, don't make sense ,beginning to think we may have new owner's soon, just hope if it does happen the new owner's leave SB to run the football side and back him.
It's not a conclusion, I said it seems that way which it does. I'm one of his biggest sceptics whereas you seem (again 'seem') to really like the man, yet only you keep coming up with these liquidation things. 'Seems' like you really want him to do it and get back at those nasty fans.
