I would imagine this could be the perfect time for a reset not just with the fans but with HCC as well.
#hcafc press conference confirmed for 2pm Thursday "referencing the future of Hull City Tigers." Assem Allam in attendance. https://twitter.com/PJBuckingham/status/509352563339431936
If the old buffer steps down from the chair, and hands over to Ehab, he avoids having to publicly say "Sorry" for, or drop the name-change brainstorm. If so, we should be thankful for small mercies and just leave it be. (Unless No.1 son starts it all up again...............)
Yes a statement of account that he's gonna send to all the fans. £100m, payable in used £20 notes by next week or else.....
for such a delay , i put my 87p on it being a partnership announcement of types , and they waiting for the "partner" to arrive from wherever , T's crossed and i's dotted. ai would have thought a take over would have been strongly leaked and a retirement doesnt require a prezza
Surely Ehab will prove to be a more savvy, media-friendly figure. Although in Syria, the son of Hafez al Asad, (Bashar al Asad) was expected to turn out this way but ultimately became the authoritarian figure he is today.. He must submit that a better working relationship (as opposed to non-existant as we have today), portends more favourably with the community, business in the city, developments, the city of culture.. He must also act gracefully as the custodian of our club. We are very grateful with what the Allams have done and only protest at one purported change. Leave that well alone and you'll have our full support.
He's not exactly off to a great start on that is he after his cheap swipe at the council ahead of the Lokeren game?
I can see Ehab straight away try and sell us on. He doesn't like football, doesn't care and probably doesn't feel as though he has the same obligations as his father. I can't see him carrying on the Hull Tigers thing, he doesn't seem like someone who can be arsed facing the fans and media. I think he only speaks on behalf of Assem now because everyone knows Assem says daft things in the press that can easily be misinterpreted because he's not exactly a great public speaker.
Hull City: Press conference called by owner Assem Allam Hull City have formally called a press conference for Thursday as the speculation over the future of owner Assem Allam intensifies. The 75-year-old chairman will face the media at 2pm at the KC Stadium to clarify his plans for the club following a period of increasing uncertainty. City offer no clue as to what issues will be addressed by Allam but his own position will be top of the agenda. Allam promised to walk away from the club if his bid to rebrand the club as Hull Tigers was rejected by the Football Association but has since kept his own counsel during a record-breaking summer in the transfer market that saw City spend upwards of £40m. Allam will not make any comment until Thursday afternoon. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...ory-22898376-detail/story.html?#ixzz3CpsLgket
I think this means we've sold up then... And Thursday is the day the buyer can make it to the KC to officially announce with Allam
