Homophobia is no different to racism, sexism etc. Has no place in modern society including professional sports. Sadly its going to take one of the world stars to come out in order to start the process of kicking homophobia out of football.
I must admit I don`t like the idea of homosexuality at all but I`m not sure it`s a good idea to be kicking them.

It's like CB radio mate, when it was 'outside the law' and frowned upon it was considered exciting and dangerous. As soon as they made it legal everyone shoved their equipment up their back passage and soon lost interest.
Totally agree Tony. No one would care unless they made a cause out of it and that's the problem. There are too many causes these days, gay hate, animal cruelty, ginger phobia, sexism, racism, etc, etc. After a while, the significance and righteousness of their cause is dilated, and no one no longer gives a ****. If they didn't keep pushing these rightful issues down our throats every ****ing day, we'd care more about them!
