At the highest level, a number 10 has to be at a certain level or will become a passenger 90% of the time. Siem cracked the Eridivisie (when fit) but the Premier League is another kettle of fish, it is on the same level as the Bundesliga or La Liga, only English football has a higher tempo and requires a more tenacious/physical approach than any other. Siem is a well rounded player and can even head but he is coming into what ought to be his prime now and despite a fresh start in the Prem... he is also injured. It doesn't look to good for him and whilst we have Ayoze and Arma coming through who both can operate in a similar role I don't think it's worth holding back their progress for a seemingly cursed number 10 who is a decent but not spectacular footballer. Unless an individual can spot a Cabaye, Sissoko or a Giroud type of opportunity then Ligue 1 or the Eridivisie should not be the type of environment we should be taking risks with.

HBA had his best spell at the club under him when he was listening to him. His problems are his own
