Fifa president Sepp Blatter has announced that TV replay's allowing coaches to challenge a referee's decision may be trialled next year!!!

Blatter said coaches would "have the right in the half, twice or once, to challenge a refereeing decision but only when the game is stopped".

He said the on-field referee would have the final say on whether to change their original decision!

Is the going to be good for the game?

Are you for it, or against it?

Sepp, I have the first case for you to scrutinise. Have a look, and tell me your thoughts!!!

Following news of a possible transfer embargo, the odds of Leeds Utd getting relegated have worsened. Leeds are now the third-favourites for relegation with Ladbrokes in light of these developments, at odds of 9/4.

    Can anyone else understand this?

    Are we in trouble?

Mornin all. See no problem with use of video evidence. Hawk eye played a crucial role in Sundays Gaa final. Final strike of game ruled wide resulting in a replay. Was too close for any official to call in real time.
So another of our academy pulls on England shirt, fantastic isn't it. Pity they're still not with Leeds when it happens but doubt well ever see that again.
Are we in relegation trouble. Not if we get a decent coach. Playing squad is miles, maybe light years better than the last few seasons so the coach is the missing link. I read nothing into bookies odds as they'll change daily anyway

Good morning from a bright Cote de Bardsey to Matt and his boys I think that the next game will prove where we are because as I have said time and time again I think Lee Clarke is one of the worst managers ever seen,l if we cant beat his team we are really in trouble
If we lose then Redders will go back to the academy its as simple as that in my view he has all week to prepare apart from not knowing whether the 2 latest signings will be allowed to play but even so we should steamroller Brum
Platter epitomises why football especially FIFA is so corrupt so I don't waste my time listening in to him
Adryan played yesterday how did he fare ?

At the start of the season I tipped us for relegation but once we get the right coach in charge I can see us finishing above mid table.

I know this squad is brand new but like Eire said, it's light years ahead of last seasons. Once we get a run going it will give some confidence amongst the team.

This is all relying on us getting the right coach though. It worries me that we've had 2 weeks to find one and in that 2 weeks Cellino has home back to his family home in America. I have faith that he wants to find a decent coach he's ploughed enough money into the club but we'll have to wait and see.

There are much worse teams than us in this division who are already in dire straits this early on in the season

Morning all! Thought it was time for my bi-annual post! Wouldn't read anything into bookies odds re relegation. We have a decent squad, and finally a midfield that should be as decent, if not better than snods, howson, johnson etc.

As mentioned previously, coach is the missing piece. Worries me how an appointment hasn't been made yet- the int. Break is perfect time for a new coach to come in and implement his ideas. I'm sure Massa has a plan tho.

Btw-I voted against video replays being used. Think goal line tech is great as it doesn't slow the game down. One of the things I hate about American sport is all the time outs, and the length of time it can take to get through 1game of American football is ri-donk-ulous! Football is great because it flows. I also think it will set a precedent-once we start changing it fundamentally, where does it stop?

    Morning all <ok>

I voted no for the same reasons as Milky above.

Delph played very well, although I was worried about him after he picked up a booking in the first few minutes. I thought Sterling had another good game and I just cant see a place for Rooney in the first team but also cant see Woy dropping him.

Morning all. Didn't see the game, as it was on late here. But a good win nevertheless.

On replays, perhaps Blatter should look at other games that have replays and come up with a sensible options for people to vote on. Me thinks he'll make a dogs breakfast of it. But I do think the concept of replays is a good one.

    Morning mate

I've wanted Clarke in place since his name was first mentioned for the job.

I can't see how us having a transfer embargo in January puts is third favourites to go down? I think Cellino has planned for this in a way? 15 new players in this summer and possibly a loan signing or two still to come. It's still way to early for anyone to say we'll get relegated. This is the first time I've been optimistic in years! I'm not saying we'll get promotion because we won't but relegation?? I'm not sure we will

    Good Morning

We're not relegation fodder and I pretty much doubt with embargo will actually take place. Like people have said over and over again the squad is stronger by miles and will only get stronger with the likes of Austin leaving and new players coming in.

As for TV Replays, it's going to slow the game down. a 90 min game will be double that. Football is a fast paced game not a move stop, move stop game like American football.

And on to Clark vs Ogden didn't see the incident like 60 but I can't the Look North team apart from Keeley Donovan and Amy Garcia (both are fit) so my heart doesn't bleed for him. Even if I did see/hear the incident my mind probably wouldn't change.

Morning all ... replays may work, especially if it helps overturn a blatant fcuking dive!! Come on Cellino, get Steve Clarke in and let's start to motor ... relegation won't happen, may just pop a few quid on Betfair against us going down ... talking of being in trouble, Blackpool are sinking faster than a hooker going down for a tenner

Oh yes, almost forgot ... come on Yorkshire, fcuking hammer Notts and win the title!!!

We wont go down, as our midfield is looking balanced - and if played correctly we may start to play a bit of football - get afew wins under the belt - the best supporters in the land right behind them!! the team will get a lift, who knows.

Blatter........he is a ****ing gangster in a suit, he has got the french **** Platini running round like his lap dog, and now he shall get auto picked for president for the 5th term........ 20 ****ing years of dictatorship, he definitely has got something on all of them.
