Switzerland have some very good players. They just need an out-and-out striker and they'd be extremely dangerous. We played well. Sterling was superb and Cahill had a great game. Rooney needs to improve if he wants to lead by example. Even Jones had a better game. <yikes>

Thought Sterling was a bit below par tonight though he did have the major part in both goals.

Stirling didn't have the best game but all the right signs are there, nothing to worry about with him. Henderson plain looked like he was saving himself for Liverpool though

Henderson was nursing an injury so he kind of played within himself. Agree that Sterling didn't have the best of games but was still one of the best players on the pitch, and had an integral part to play in both of our goals. He's fast becoming England's main man.

  7. Yep, not his greatest game but still key. Just shows how good he really is :)

I'd have been disappointed with Raheem, tbh, if it had been a Liverpool game.
But as it was England I don't give a toss. I'll be happy for him to get the odd mediocre game out of his system whilst playing for the national team.

Picked up an knock yesterday, unfair to say he was saving himself when playing with a possible injury. Personally and most here will agree that I didn't want him to play at all (club before country for me), Woy has already lost Sturridge for us.

Why was Rooney man of the ****ing matxh?

    Why is Jones so ****e?

Decent goals created by LFC and shinned in (first one anyway) by the ex-manc cockerney.

    3. jones is a fat, slobbish, apprently duncan edwards lookalikey which is a huge insult and symptomatic of delusion at the toilet. he is ****e cos he is half developed, injured most of the time and hasn't been trained to be a fottballer, he's been trianed to make faces and kick people.

In all fairness, you can see why Rooney struggles. He tries to do far too much himself rather than taking the sensible option or bringing other players into the game. It's understandable given that at United he has been expected to do everything for them

Gutted Bout Sturidge. Can is also out for 6 weeks as well which isn't ideal.

Good thing we got Ballotelli and Lallana and Markovic should be back and ready for action now as well.

What I got from that is Woy and his team couldn't give a **** about any advice that doesn't comply with their view. Never mind the fact that the club handles the player on a day to day basis and knows how to keep him fit, same can be said of how England handle the Arsenal players.

    Constant communication with nobody listening.

  19. Why wouldn't Hendo play?

    No ****ing idea!

Bar his **** up in the first half, I thought he played well against the Swiss before coming off.
