My burd works for the council, she tells me about how lazy her colleagues are - basically it's a holiday camp.

That's what we need, send in the riot police. The teachers will break a lot easier than the miners. <ok>

Richard Littlejohn, he says put the strikers in prison but that wont happen due to the PC Brigade, elf 'n' safety and militant Labour-run councils spending all our money on Muslim lesbian drama classes.

Another day, another thread whinging about the public sector and how they all live in gold houses, drive Bentleys and live on a diet of caviar and champagne.

DOn't start me on teachers. ****ing jumped up, lazy, useless shower of ****s.

Most have never left Education from when they were 5 year old. They have no idea how the real world works.

Why they get treated like some of the most intelligent people in the country is beyond me.

Those that can do, do. Those that can't, teach.

****ers claim to be striking for everyone's pensions. Where were they when they were closing all the final salary pensions in the private sector? Normally I support strikes but not a ****ing chance on this occasion.

Get back to work you scum.

I see our resident militant socialist has arrived.

Have you ever worked in the private sector ST?

I have only ever seen you talk about jubs in the public sector with nice pensions and good perks.

If there are so many threads about how pissed off the rest of the country is with public sector workers complaining about how hard life is, when they get 3months holiday a year, do you not think the strikes are a bit of a **** idea since they require public support to achieve their aims? The strikes will turn the public against the cause very quickly.

I work in the private sector Kimmy.

And, having worked in both sectors, I have to admit the private sector has the best jubs <ok>

    the best one i've heard recently was a bunch of naval officers discussing their pensions and how hard it was;

"but you dont actually contribute to your pensions and you can retire on full pension after 22 years?"

"yeah, but if we did contribute it'd be something like 17% of our salary"

"but you're already overpaid and i'm pretty sure you just made that number up"

    it degenerated from there <laugh>
