    I knew a guy in our road who bought one in the early 80s, it was OBO110X...

    Also saw one on a motorbike around the same time OGO2L...

    In Guernsey we just have numbers on our plates, starting with 1 and going up to five digits, e.g. 54687.

    The guy who had 666 used to have a really cool black sports car with black tinted windows, which fit the plate really well.

    Last time I saw him though he had a people carrier so I guess he got married and had to drop the bad boy image. Shame!

    A guy at work with has got "M8 CLV"

    He lives just off the M8 and his name is 'Clive' <laugh>

    Best one I saw was years ago before the lottery: a gold RR in Aberdeen - "I WON" ..obviously this dude won the pools <ok>

    Another bloke I know has got "SLK 200" cos that's the model of his Merc.

    Personally I would never be so gauche (look it up) as to get a personalised reggie. I mean, WTF is the point? To say to other motorists that you're an egotistical cant, with a big wallet and a small cock? Not my style. I much prefer quiet sophitication and the knowledge that my motor is fully paid for, and owned by me......
