League that makes them..... The best ones go to you in Germany obviously

The best English sit in reserve teams until they get fat drinking carling with rhc and spend all thier cash on blow and then move to lower sides to make a few quid

Not a bad result or performance but the game does highlight why we are poor in tournaments. i think 90% of our clear cut chances originated from a mistake from the swiss. The first goal was from a aimless kick in the air by their cm and the second came from them losing possession while playing very high up, through chasing the game.

When you reach a tournament however the teams are either technically very good, or very well organised. They make very few mistakes, forcing england to actually craft an opening rather than rely on a lose ball to run on too. Unfortunately i don't think the england squad as a whole could craft a wicker basket never mind a goal scoring opportunity.

...plus the fact that when we gift chances (as we did in the first half) you get punished by the really good teams. Good result and makes qualification almost certain but absolutely nothing to get carried away about...and worse it means we'll be stuck with woy until we get shafted in France in 2 years time <ok>

I jumped up to celebrate the first goal and immediately sat back down, when the camera cut to him wobbling on the touch line. Its a pain in the arse when you would like the team to do well but it also keeps him in a job. I also find in depressing to think that although not world beaters a good strong manager could fashion something highly competitive from the england team.

So Lambert does more in 4 minutes than the fat **** in 90.

So Rooney will continue to start and as soon as we play a decent opponent we will lose and Roy will think where the **** did that result come from <doh>

Not for a year in which he lead England to glory and let down his captain, his nation and himself

I'm glad he decided to stop snorting blow and join a lesser club to get a few games anyway cos clearly that's what's wrong with Rooney, too much high living
