Delph will be off before half time if he doesn`t calm down.

Anyone else think Jones could become one of the best defenders in a few seasons if he gets a good run in the team

Does anyone think that no Liverpool player has ever played well for England?

I can't remember any of them ever transferring their club form to England.

    Fowler - ****
    Mcmanaman - ****
    Barnes - ****
    Carragher - ****
    Gerrard - ****
    Henderson - ****
Sterling - still early days but ultimately ****

Only player who seemed to play well was Owen.

To be fair that may be more down to the way England play, look what they did to Scholes and Lampard too, never let them play their natural game.

I think Sterling has played well for England more often than not so far. Nice move between him, Rooney and Danny for the goal. Pleased for Welbeck even if it was a shinner!

I hype Chamberlain. I think he's got tremendous potential. He's strong and direct, actually what Arsenal miss at times in their midfield. His problem is, like Walcott, he moved to Arsenal at least a season, probably more like two to three seasons, too soon. They both needed to play more football at a lower level before becoming first team stiffs at a PL club. Competitive Championship football is far more educational than friendlies for a PL reserve team.

I think you've been reading too many of toledo trumpton's posts <whistle>

I don't know any Arsenal fans that think any more than a couple of our players are world class

Looks like Danny Welbeck is now world class and not just world class but a world class striker! They're a comedy bunch on your board!

    Phil Jones is injured.

I hope he's got cramp and not a hamstring injury.

Might improve your defense if he's injured, though. Like us and Johnson. <ok>

Haven't seen or heard a single arsenal fan call him world class... The general consensus was underwhelmed, happy to have an additional striker and willing to get behind him and see what he can do. Not sure what your issue is with that... Maybe your just a bit upset at him leaving?
