FFS! England matches suck donkey balls! Only Sterling and Lambert left for Hodgson to injure. What absolute ****ing clown shoes!
Physioroom reporting he has a late fitness test for todays game so will probably be fit for Villa. http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php
I asked this yesterday as a rumour was doing the rounds that it would be until Xmas. No-one seems to be able to pin that down, so we should assume that the first reports of two to three weeks are still accurate.
Don't think it'll be long, Donga. Texted my mate at lunch to ask how long for both. First reply said rest of the season. I asked him if he was joking and he replied. 'Henderson for the rest of the season and Sturridge may never play again. He is a manc
I saw the christmas stuff early but thought it was some rag that put it out..... it was the day he was gone fro scan i saw the christmas stuff. I then say he'd miss everton game and now i'm seeing stuff about him missing the cl starter only. which suggest to me its one of those low grade injuried however his tweet sounded like the world fell in on him so I was throw nby that. I vote that Sturridge is innocent and hodgson is a mafia assassin.
ffs i seriously missed that one, when did this happen? just as well henderson isnt as bad as first feared then if Can is out.
allen on an articifal pitch playing basically nobodies... andorra... geat uefa can pay us 5 million for that one.. can i didn't hear anything on. well done cos our summer of buys just got reduced to... hey ffs the same problem we had last year with total lack of cms has just reoccurred.
PERHAPS..... if we agree lallana is part of that... We played coutinho on a couple of occasions in the midfield trio so yes there are a couple of calls there.
Stupid England FFS More from Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers: "Knowing Daniel Sturridge well, you can't throw a blanket over them all and think one recovery fits everyone. It is about the individual. "Hopefully we can communicate more in the future. We certainly feel it [the injury] could have been prevented." Liverpool news conference Football Posted at 14:45 Brendan Rodgers says Daniel Sturridge could be out for 'up to three weeks' with a thigh injury, while Emre Can could be absent for six weeks because of an ankle injury picked up on international duty with the Germany Under-21s. Sturridge's injury happened while he was away with England, and Rodgers says: "With Daniel, it would have been a recovery day [if he was at Liverpool]. It is individualised here and for him to pick up a thigh injury when he did was disappointing for us. "I speak regularly with [England manager] Roy [Hodgson], but he is probably being led by some of the sports science people around him and for whatever reason Dan was deemed able to train."
so who is the certainties, is it just Gerrard and Henderson, with the 3rd option one of Lallana,Coutinho,Suso(unlikely sadly) etc? what's happened to lucas, too far down the pecking order.?
that's worrying from any fan of clubs who have players who are vulnerable as well, as it looks like the england phsyios are not as clued up as the club ones.
If i were LFc I would be telling sturridge in no uncertain terms that he is to play only a half in any friendly in future and that he is to follow an lfc training and recover plan not England's one. that recovery plan would limit to extremely light to no training between england games Its that simple he is too brittle.
