are so ****ing lazy. Get ridiculously overpaid to spend half the year on holiday the other half on ****ing strike and yet they still moan about money. They are nearly as bad as the fat, lazy arse trains drivers who sit on their backsides all day doing a piss easy job and then moan that they are "only" paid £30k or so a year.
Another ****ing Tory spin bot victim. Have you ever tried teaching? I had a job part time PS teaching in Music and never again. It is stressful beyond comprehension. So many conflicting pressures you have no idea. Wise up and read the actual facts and make your own (not Rupert Murdoch's) opinion
There are far more stressful jobs than teaching where people have to meet deadlines and make decisions that could make or cost their company millions and/or affect people's lives. Jobs that aren't paid as well and where you don't spend half the year on ****ing holiday. Teachers have it a hell of a lot easier than most. I live with 2 teachers and they are never at bloody work. The standard of teaching on the whole is **** so it's not even as if many of them are doing a good job.
Teaching is very stressful as my brother always tells me. I kind of agree with why they are striking but what about the parents of those kids who tomorrow have to take time off work to look after their kids.
Alan is that not the point of strikes. Makes those who dont give a damn about people's predicaments because it doesn't affect them suddenly think about them as it does affect them.
Interesting, in that the same ill-informed twaddle and prejudices are pervasive in all walks of media. While we're at it, pay the nurses a pittance too, let's face it very few of them are men.
Why should public sector workers be made to suffer because the greedy capitalist speculator bankers ****ed the country up ?
After your parents, teachers are probably the people that will have the biggest impact on your life. Having **** teachers will **** your school years up, leading to a lack in qualifications needed for the future. The standard isn't ****, there just isn't enough money put into education. If/when you have kids, don't you want their teachers to be good? For your teachers to be any good, they need to get paid enough to want to do that job, otherwise you will only get **** teachers. On the workload front, the holidays they get are down to the holidays the kids get you ******. So you think teachers should go into school and hang out there with no kids to teach? The pay only gets decent when you have years of experience, and you generally have to spend your formative years in a ****ty school (A few years back the stats were that a teacher was violently assaulted every day in this country). As for most jobs, if you think they get it that easy then ****ing train to be a teacher, otherwise stop ****ing moaning
Teachers are paid more and get far more time off than most people. Compared to many others they have a piss easy ride so they should stop ****ing complaining. Where did I say that? I said they get plenty of time off, I don't give a **** what the reason for that is they just shouldn't then complain when everyone else has to work all year round. Compared to most they do **** all work. I can't name one teacher who have a positive impact on my life, they were are totally useless yet I still went on to University, got my degree and now have a decent job, a job where I actually have to work hard. The people I live with are home by mid afternoon every day and are going away on holiday every other ****ing week.
Give me 3 examples of jobs where the teachers are unfairly paid more. You do know what qualifications/education are?
Nurses work long hours and everything they do affects the health of the people in their care. They have it much harder than teachers but they complain a lot less.
