Just started to have a quick look at the cards. In the opener at Brighton I really like the look of Ginzan. With his Brighton form looking very good, the forecast 5/1 makes him a cracking ew bet. Nothing else catches the eye at the meeting.

That will put to rest all those claims about Portugal being a one man team.

Ronaldo is injured and they lose 0-1 at home to Albania.

Then again I wouldn't mind England having one man at the moment.

Morning all only had chance to look at the first 3 at brighton and the 330 looks like a cracking little race but looking at the big picture what the hell are some bookies offering 12s for on SHIFTING STAR this is no banker but 12s is way to big . I can justify forgiving the last few runs plus shifting did shift on his last run here.
good luck all

Not guilty, M’Lud. I can confirm that I have not now or ever eaten into Subway’s profits. I’m pleased though that this chap has been busted as he has made a right boob. The only surprise is that he’s not been moved to The Big House for a couple of years.

Along these lines though I did once know a fellow who got sacked from a pet shop. Why did he get fired from this establishment?!? He got caught with his hand in the trill.

Something needs to be done in that town, its becoming as lawless as the wild west (Exeter and the like)

I fully expect England to get soundly thrashed tonight. This team and everything surrounding them is getting as bad as the Graham Taylor era. Do I not like that. Well, actually I really don't care. Chicken stew for lunch today <ok>

I think it'll be a draw, the Swiss aren't a great side and are flattered by their 'world ranking'. As bad as this England team is they should still walk this group

The Swiss might not be a great side, but they will be more of a team than England. The worst thing about this England team is that they aren't working as a team, rather the bunch of individuals that they are.

I fear the worst tonight, and it might be the kick the FA need.

I think at 2/1 England actually represent a bit of value, no Sturridge could be a bit of a blessing as it means Rooney can play up front with Sterling behind him. Think it will give the team a bit more fluidity and the chance to break quickly.

I say are they still playing international football?!? Why they still bother I’ve no idea. If they must though surely the best policy would be to do what those golfing chaps do and pick a ‘United States of Europe’ side.

For a long time now England have played as individuals, can't remember the last time i thought we had a good team, who played together with any sort of passion. When you look at the other top teams around Europe, or any where in the world actually, they all play as a team and its country first for them, or at least it seems that way. With England its club first and playing for England is taken for granted and not seen as the privilege that it should be! The club rivalry in English club football seems to make it difficult for the same players to play along side each other in the national side, a problem that other countries don't seem to have.

I do think Roy Hodgson is trying to do the right thing by rebuilding and bringing the youngsters through but we just don't have the quality of players, and don't even have that one player or 'talisman' to carry the team. Rooney is a poor choice of captain, he's well past his best, is not good enough and constantly under performs for England. And the really sad thing about that is, he'll more than likely end up being Englands all time top goalscorer!

I agree the Swiss will be more of a team but Roy will probably have England bore them into a draw.

I expect England to win quite smoothly tonight, 3 or 4-0, thoroughly outplaying the Swiss with their exquisite brand of attacking football. Ah, doorbell's going, it's those men in the white coats to collect me for my weekly therapy. Back later, I hope, 'cos Wife has TomYum soup on the go for lunch.
