Best Driver: Hamilton - dominant all weekend, recovered from a poor start excellently
Worst Driver: Gutierrez - was already running pretty much net last even before he stupidly hit Grosjean
Best Rookie (Magnussen, Kvyat, Ericsson): Kvyat - was unlucky to not pick up a point
Best Team: Mercedes - one/two finish and no drama
Worst Team: Lotus - simply awful

    Best Overtake: Ricciardo on Raikkonen
Funniest-moment: Rosberg 'it was a shame for my side of the garage'
Most Surprising Result: Williams kept it together
Least Surprising Result: Ericsson was dire

Special Mention to: Kobayashi, for coming back in with no fuss and proving himself far too talented for the back of the grid; Ricciardo for another sterling drive; Massa for his long overdue podium; Perez for an excellent defensive performance against his former team-mate; Magnussen who is rather unlucky to be stuck in such a slow Mclaren
    Race Rating: 10/10

Best Driver: Kvyat, started last and was unlucky not to score at least a couple of points. kept his car relatively undamaged, managed to avoid taking out the cars in front and still managed to finish the race ahead of his team-mate despite having a catastrophic brake failure.
    Worst Driver: Guttierez
Best Rookie (Magnussen, Kvyat, Ericsson): Kvyat.
    Best Team: Mercedes
    Worst Team: Lotus

Best Overtake: The Button Perez battle.
Funniest-moment: Chilton, manages t pull off a move on a faster car only to dump it in the gravel. Do what you're, er, 'paid' for, driving slowly around at the back in a mobile billboard
Most Surprising Result: Massa/Hamilton wheel to wheel without an accident.
    Least Surprising Result: merc 1-2

Special Mention to: oh my, there were so many having a good race today I struggled to choose a best driver. so the nominees other were, Hamilton, Ricciardo, Massa and Perez.
Race Rating: 7/10 Monza is a track totally ruined by the current rules on DRS use.

Best Rookie: Kvyat over Magnusson, who was a tad sloppy again.
    Best Team: magnificent Mercedes
Worst Team: another sad day for Lotus

Best Overtake: Lewis on Massa - credit to both

Special Mention to: Bottas and Pérez; Massa's well-deserved podium
    Race Rating: 10/10 for me.

While Hulk did his chances of a top drive no favours today, he was screwed over by a bizarre strategy from his team, pulling him in around lap 20, negating the entire benefit of starting on the hard tyres. (seriously, did he have a puncture or something? Why would you attempt more than half the race on the soft tyres?!)

I thought that was utterly bizarre too, presumably he'd either shredded the tyres or the team had another reason for making the change.

Oh behave, Chilton binned it into the gravel and Gutierrez weaved into Grosjean and shredded his tyre, one racing ending the other pretty muc so. Rosberg lost about 6 seconds.

Thanks for this. It seemed so out of character from him and I had just put it down to everyone having a bad day sometimes. I think my attention was elsewhere yesterday :)

Oh, behave yourself! ;) Neither of those two is challenging for the WDC or even points! I picked Rosberg, and indeed Hulk, because I expect much better from both of them. It's true that I don't care much for Rosberg but I'm a huge Hulk fan.
