What would all that be? Circa 100m for the debts plus some extra £ to persuade the Allam family to sell?
Must be somewhere around that sort of figure. All things considered, it surely makes the prospect of us being bought out by a non Hullensian slim.
Maybe they will just say that in answer to the rumours that are circulating, for the moment there is no agreement in place to sell. If however they do say that an agreement has been reached with another party, then this new party must have been aware and in agreement with the signings made before the window closed, which is a good sign that they are prepared to sanction funds to improve the team.
Or better:Jack Mah just about to float Alibaba on the NYSE with company valued up to $160 billion. Already bought a soccer team in China. Now money of that size would buy one or two more Ben Arfa's and maybe improve the pies at the KC stadium, noodles anyone!
As long as its not like Randy Lerner at Villa, got a feeling its just going to be AA stating his commitment to city.
Wild speculation I imagine, but Michael Ilitch would be a great owner. The amount of investment he/the family puts into the two teams he owns has been pretty incredible. Especially since the Detroit Tigers suck most of the time.
Well I guess we'll find out next week. Seems reading this it will either be: 1. We're staying 2. We've sold 3. We're going into partnership Obviously I'm ok with 1. 2 would be ok if it was to someone like the Ilitch's, which seems far fetched. That said, FA cup final and the best TDD ever seemed that way so, you never know. 3 would also be ok with me assuming it's similar to 2. I can't see them selling up to a bunch of arseholes tbh, regardless of what a minority on here think, they've always had the club, and the City's best interests at heart. I just wonder how any new owners or partners would deal with the KC and the HCC. I really hope those ****ers don't end up smelling of roses.
Probably been said by someone already, but could it just be an announcement that Allam senior is stepping down with Ehab coming to the fore? Can't see someone buying us to be honest.
Yeah that they are NOT selling the club! its aload of rubbish, that we now seem to have 2 threads on!
The club is not owned by Assem and Ehab individually, it's owned by Allamhouse, which they both own, whatever they do with the Allamhouse shares is entirely up to them they wouldn't need to make any statement on it.
