Agreed but would not be too bothered if rumours where true. Makes one wonder where all this money has come from.
We wouldn't end up with a worse owner than one that tells the fans 'they can die if they want to' for having principles. PLTs post sums it all up very well. I can understand people standing up for the owners who actually work for them or depend on them for charity so if that's the case for you just come out and say it rather than criticise people for telling the truth.
Except that's not what was said, or why. Take the blinkers off. The obvious response to your frankly ****ing stupid last bit would be "I can't understand bigots, but if you just don't like foreigners, all of them, rather than criticizing those of us who think Dr Allam is a good man and good for our club, just come out and admit you're a racist." Stupid isn't it? So stop ****ing doing it. I don't work for him, I don't rely on him for anything. The majority of the fans support him too. Sorry you can't see that.
Its all over facebook. AA has apparently stated that the Club are going to release as statement this week concerning the ownership of the club.
HVN55811Have just spoken to #hcafc chairman Assem Allam who told me the club will release a statement next week about the ownership of the club Expand This posted 37 mins ago by a DanKemp. ?????? On twitter that is.
Because, of course, that is the obvious route for the Allams to take to publicise changes in the ownership of the club. That and leaflets in Ticklers snooker hall.
Snake oil salesman knowing our luck. Seriously though, I can’t imagine someone buying us to make money and we have no real assets (other than PL status) so maybe if we have been sold it’s to someone who is loaded and wants to create an empire.
Yeah ^^^^^^^ I'd think whoever it is (if there is a 'whoever') will put in money to repay Allamhouse loans and also extra - accounting for our DD 'Splash'.
Would explain the source of all the money we have been spending. Wasn't there rumours about some Chinese investors being interested a while back.
Hope the statement doesnt affect the build up and steve Bruces plans in a negative way for the West Ham game
Wonder if its the same investors that where turned away before the Cup final, have come back with a better offer, and the deal has been done for them to take over
Michael Ilitch and his sons was one of the rumors. He is the owner of the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Redwings and Little Cesears Pizza. He has been trying to buy the Detroit Lions for years but the Ford family wont sell. There have been a lot of articles over the last few years that he was looking into buying a PL club. He is old as balls but his sons run the business now and not him. He is worth around 3 billion.
