I think it's a shame that people have the mentality that they want to wind up their own fans, at the risk of being a bit controversial I'd hazard a guess that Percy for example would be a good contributor to here if he posted more articles that weren't intended to wum or troll the board. Doveston should go back to CI if he doesn't like 'clappers' I've been on CI and it seems to be a load of old men talking bollocks and moaning, happy to be a clapper if thats the case!
I agree about people wanting to wind up their own fans, but I don't think it's a shame, I think it's a sign that that person would have been one of Freud's case studies if they were born in 19th century Mainland-Europe. As for Percy, I think he's an intelligent person who just happens to have such a blinkered, rose-tinted view of Phil Brown's time here that it's stunted his ability to comprehend the work that those currently at the club have done.
Yeah I agree with that pretty much, not so sure about the pyschoanalysis part that usually only ends up with shagging somewhere along the line, what Percy gets up to is his own business!
I won't apologise for defending the only manager in the club's history to take us to the Premier League. If you want blinkered and rose-tinted, look no further than people's attitudes to Our Dear Leader Mr. Pearson.
Percy, the issues you have with the current staff all stem from your obsession with the SUGGESTION that Phil Brown MIGHT have kept us in the Premier League. That's pretty ridiculous.
My issues with the staff stem from the fact that they're not capable of doing their jobs and that their egos are stopping the club from progressing. That's real funny stuff there Andrea. Got any more?
Please substantiate this claim, preferably with something other than "well I think we should have reached the Play-Offs".
Some slight issues with that one Percy. I hardly think AP and NP are sat around twidling their thumbs doing nothing, i expect they're doing their jobs and getting the club prepared for next season. Furthermore, if they weren't capable of doing their jobs, wouldn't that have seen us relegated and given our financial circumstances, in god knows what trouble? I know we didn't get promoted last season like you seem to think we should have done, but i don't think that's any reason to suggest that they're not capable of doing their jobs. I can't imagine either of them have had an easy 12 months since we were relegated, i think they've done a good job considering the circumstances they've both had to contend with, so i think you're being unfair on both of them in saying they're not capable of doing their jobs. With the egos thing i guess you're refering to Bullard? He doesn't want to be here, chances are he'll be gone and we move on. I hardly think given his injury record he could be our talisman and lead us to a promotion campaign, it's a shame things couldn't have worked out better but it's best for everyone that he moves on.
