It certainly reads the same. Was it you I read cycling in from Pock? Which route do you take? There's a good bump to get over most ways.
I try to keep on the flat as much as possible and stay off the A1079, so I go from Pock to Londesborough then to Market Weighton, then on the north cliff/south cliff road to North Cave/South Cave/Elloughton/Ferriby/Boothferry Road/Anlaby Road
Just had a look and I see what you mean. In my mind I'd got Cliffe Rd mixed with Sancton Rd, and in which case I'd have favoured bumpy over busy and gone through Little Weighton, but your way makes more sense. How secure are bikes at the stadium? I've heard stories of them going missing, which pisses me off, especially given the Police presence and (lack of) activity.
Not done much out that way, so just plotted myself a spin round there for morning. We really are blessed around here for cycling routes.
Aye. If I'm that way, I generally go through Melton and Spout Hill then into Newbald and Trundlegate. Looks like I should keep going west for some scenery. I love it round Thixendale and Givendale and then scooting back through Weighton and Dalton.
It takes me a while to get up them, but I do find it rewarding despite the soggy tomato face and heavy breathing. I reckon some of the young racing snakes that go up and down them several times on their training runs say hello each time they pass me on my single crawl up just to laugh at the sweaty fat bloke trying to speak.
I'm the wrong side in as much as they won't let me go yet. Some say I'm having a second childhood, but I don't think I've really finished the first one yet.
Come on, the steepest climb on there is Box Hill, and that's been done in just over 7 and a half minutes. How hard can it be? httphttp://www.strava.com/segments/box-hill-roundabout-to-summit-post-box-3623111://
