Eesh, I find myself reading Leon's posts and nodding in agreement. This is ****ed up. The question about will it be applied even handed? No of course not. If it suits certain people they will always use the "its got a tenuous link to City/Football" argument, which if it had suited, could easily have been applied here.

Politics involves politics, you know, where people start ranting on about loony lefties and right wing tax dodgers and all the other **** that happens when a thread turns political. Safe standing is obviously a football matter, it's not remotely political, unless you post 'I'm a UKIP supporter who wants safe standing'. Just apply a bit of common sense, if you start a thread about any political situation, such as Scottish independence, EU membership, immigration or any other obvious political issue, it will be closed. It's really not complicated and it barely ever causes issue.

No, not political at all. What about Hillsborough then, is that political? Can that be discussed?
