Pete O'Rourke ‏@SkySportsPeteO 10m Tom Cleverley's loan move to Aston Villa from Manchester United has been approved by the Premier a League. #avfc #MUFC Mark Ogden ‏@MOgdenTelegraph 54s Common sense all round on Cleverley loan to Villa. The two clubs resurrected the deal for the sake of the player.. Mark Ogden ‏@MOgdenTelegraph 45s Villa can complete a £7.5m deal for Cleverley in January if the player impresses.
Villa sign Cleverley on loan Aston Villa have signed Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley on a season-long loan. A deal was agreed before the transfer deadline on Monday night for the England international to move to the Midlanders, but was only confirmed on Tuesday afternoon. The midfielder came through the ranks at Old Trafford and has made 79 appearances for the club, scoring five times. His last outing came in the 1-1 draw against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light. Cleverley has previously had loan spells with Leicester City, Watford and Wigan Athletic.
Might as well start the strootman rumours. Changed his agent to the same as rvp. Lining up a january move.
Whoever we sign UIR, the wum's will fill this board with any of the following options. Transfer fee way too expensive Injury prone He really wanted to sign for us, (pick any club in the prem) but the manager didn't think he was suitable Wages are extortionate Too old Never recovered from hamstring, broken toe, ligament damage, etc etc Never regained his form from 2 years ago Too slow Carried too much baggage from other sides Can never settle down at any club His wife doesn't like England blah blah bloody blah. Heard it all before
Right now, with United you need to ask one question to decide whether he will answer your problems..... Is he a defender? No? Then he won't answer your problems! Thats about the long and short of it.
It's always quiet on there, I probably spend more time on the Liverpool and United boards these days. I cant see many active Chelsea posters at all, just me and Purley, we could go sit in a quiet room together if you'd prefer
I wasn't complaining, it was just an observation. There are 4 or 5 who post a lot on here but hardly at all on the Chelsea board. As I said not complaining (everyone's interested in United) just noticed it and think it's a bit odd!
Shaw will come good, but right now he's an average full back. Blind will be played in DM mostly unless you want to sub Shaw. Rojo - No opinions. Only seem him in the world cup.
Shaw is better than average at the moment (the only thing that lets him down sometime is his positioning, but that's a minor and can be improved). Rojo yeh jury's out on that one. I agree about Blind, but surely him as a DM itself will improve our defence?
Based on Isco claiming Bale's spot in the team recently but forgetting to mention he's in the side as a result of Bale being inured
