I was flicking through various youtube music videos and found the Freddie Mercury tribute concert from 1992.

It brings back a lot of happy memories.

    What a great band.

They influenced so many other great bands too.

Dare I say one of the finest groups in the World!

Roger Taylor, best drummer in the World at the time.

Went to live aid at wembley, and also saw the last queen concert there. But also saw queen at Milton Keynes which was the best gig I have ever seen.

    Don't tell shaks.

Hmmm....not sure about Roger Taylor being the world's best drummer. Don't think he was ever close to being that

As a band they were nowhere near as good as The Who and The Rolling Stones in their pomp.

Agreed, and after the sad demise of Moon the Loon no one ever came close to his prowess on the drums.

Mental as **** as well

Didn't appreciate it at the time, and it makes me old.

Other favourite gigs include The Jam @ Queens Hall, Leeds. Oasis at Knebworth, Heaton Park and The Etihad, kaiser Chiefs at Bramham. Springstein at Rounday Park.

Got to confess looking forward to Madness at FD Arena in December.

    Had beer= sentimental.

Didn't they morph to or from Beautiful South?
Rotterdam and Don't marry her are two great songs.

Yes, though Norman Cook formed a one hit wonder band called beats international who had a hit with 'dub be good to you'

He went on to become fat boy slim
