Boro dug out a great result tonight, and so did Hudders.

Not sure what direction Reading are going in tbh. It really hasn't happened for Nige there.

Indeed. Can't have helped with the ownership upheaval. Until they get some properly stability [I think the club is being held together by Sir John] they can't really go forward.

Fulham lost all 3 games since relegation and playing with a lot of youngsters. Sounds familiar. They could be in real trouble this season. Their manager didn't even want to answer a question about how long he had to turn it round.

I think Hartlepool are in serious danger of being relegated to the Conference. Early to say that I know, but they have lost each of their first three games without scoring, their best striker has handed in a transfer request, and Colin Cooper is struggling with the demands of management. I fear for them.

Great to see them back at their home. No doubt a cracking atmosphere there tonight especially with the win. I feel for the club and their fans with the state of affairs and am truly grateful that Saints didn't go down the SISU takeover route a few years back. Had we gone down that route we could have been plagued with financial problems and been stuck down in Football League obscurity for as long as they have.

Good for Coventry. I've said it before, so old lags may want to skip this, but I've loved them ever since our promotion match against them. They had gone down, yet most of their fans stayed to watch our celebrations. That showed real and genuine class.

I've followed their results, trials and tribulations ever since, and I wish them all the best.

After 6 games, he is their leading scorer with the 2 he got today. No-one else has more than 1, and one of those is Simon Gillett.

If I wrote the post of my newly discovered news that Aaron Martin scored twice today for Yeovil, thereby helping them to beat Bradford City 3-1, I'd be about 3½ hours late with it.

    So I won't :)

That's because I've been a day late before and the news has been posted about 5 pages before I got there. I can't back-check a thread that far. :)
