Players using us as a shop window is okay if they do their best for us (which they probably would), we make a nice profit, and they do not disturb the rest of the team (as happened this summer). One journalist referred to our team as a bag of weasels...a good description of what can happen when a clique get together and decide we are unworthy and they are too good.

I'm not saying we'll get top 4 in the foreseeable future, but Everton nearly did it last year with a marginally stronger side. Being realistic, if we sold Schneiderlin and Rodriguez in the summer for 50 million and got in 4/5 good players, we'd be even stronger and with a bit of luck be top 6.
Radio gaga is good but I think it's more likely to be to the tune of "here we go, here we go, here we go" (Souza's Stars and Stripes Forever). Something like this. Sadio, Sadio, Sadio Sadio, Sadio, Sadio oh Sadio, Sadio, Sadio Sadio, SADIO (loud) The tune is a proven favourite and not too complex for the Northam.
Well we need to get behind radio gaga then, because that one is naff! If saints fans could actually pull together on this With the right clapping, it could be pretty impressive to have the Northam all doing "Sadio Mane" together.
And in one fell swoop FLT destroys creative spirit. Do you know how long I worked on that? There's no way the Northam will sing the Radio Gaga tune though.

The irony that the Northam would find a Souza march easier to sing than a monster hit by Queen seems to have escaped everyone.
I still like the idea of "Money" by the Beatles - "Just give me Mané, that's what I want." Or obviously the Pink Floyd track of the same name, but the 7/8 time signature will likely confuse the Northam into submission.
Undoubtedly true. I think he might though. Indeed. When I read that someone suggested Radio Gaga it took me about 3 seconds to see that it could fit very well indeed, without the need to re-invent the wheel. That's not because I'm particularly musically minded, but that it becomes obvious that the tune and some of the words would work, at the merest thought. Let's face it, the chant would start at the line... all we hear is Radio Gaga... which, off the top of my head [haven't thought about it at all] could be easily changed to... all we want is Sadio Mané... I'm sure someone lyrical could come up with replacements for the words. It's not the hardest tune in the world to sing. They even put some regimented hand clapping in there to keep everybody in time, as well. Or would we rather change the words to 76 Trombones or something..?
Exactly the line I typed earlier on here TSS. That and the clapping works. It would be good if he scores on his debut and we erupt into that.
