Maradona had a weight problem (and Coke and prostitute problem) but didn't get none of the **** you lot are giving Adel. Magnificent footballer, this is him in 2014:
Then he can't win can he? If he said he couldn't be arsed to try......you'd criticise him. He says he wants to knuckle down and prove he can play and.............you criticise him. This can only be good for us.....................IF he does it!
Good find Roller. Best thing about that goal was the terrible clearance from the keeper (was that Paddy Kenny?) that turned out to be an Assist.
This can only be good news for the club. If we can get him fit and playing well then we have a big asset who can change games. We have been lacking creativity all pre-season and in the first couple of games some decisive runs at the defence could have made the difference.
Of course its good news IMO he has never let QPR ... He is a genius footballer and looking forward to seeing a few having to admit that Best news IMO of the summer Unique talent and every QPR fan IMO should be proud to have him at our club
A very special talent. Agreed with DT on this. He can win games on his own. Whether 'Arry picks him is another matter. His boy Niko will get first shout I reckon....
The last 6 months he was playing very well in a little back street club in Italy. AC Milan think they are called. If he keeps playing like that we will or should be, very satisfied.
FINALLY, something we totally agree on EDDIT...And lease dont be baosting about Preston....How do they compare to Liverpool, Chelsea etc.... Now if you had said the Gunners goal then I'd have agreed with you
We all know he's got it in him, it's all the shyte that comes with getting it out of him AND consistently. If he produces that all would be forgiven but it's becoming a bit like Groundhog Day, a few good games the odd brilliant goal and the big fall-out...
I agree that he has to change his attitude. I'm not convinced that he will, but it can only be good for us if he is to knuckle down, get fit and prove he can be the player we've seen before, that can only help us stay up imo.
Adel has said these words before, so far it lasts for a while and then he returns to his petulant self. Hopefully the fact that the last two transfer windows he's been there for all to buy, yet nobody was willing to cough up for him and I guess that really could be the wake up call he needed. But I think for Adel he has to start from scratch, he can't play for us until January and think that's enough to prove himself, he has to put in 1 or 2 great seasons and then he might, and deserve that elusive move he so desires. But even if you hate the guy for his attitude, nothing should get in the way of what's best for the club and team as a whole and that is an on form Adel Taarabt!
TLR, and I thought I was being tough on the guy !! If he is to turn his career around, he doesnt have the luxury of that amount of time. There should be absolutely no reason why he cant start decent performances, even cameos straight away.
