Good shout, a lot of good bands came after from the Animals members when they disbanded.. You like the old stuff don't you mate?
Dave Stewart Mick Grabham Toy Dolls David Coverdale Chris Rea Mark Knopfler John Miles Paul Rodgers Lindisfarne Sting
Cheers mate, for some reason I thought he was from Durham.. Do you remember Brass Alley & Lucas Tyson that used to do the clubs in the early 70's?
Saw Roxy Music, early 74 and was mesmerised by Brian Eno on Keyboards and then this guy really started to hammer the Saxophone, Andy Mackay if memory serves me well, opened my eyes that gig to other things beyond the lead guitar..
The Influence John Miles went on his own and with Tina Turner Paul Thompson joined as drummer with Roxy Music Vic Malcolm formed Geordie. Good band. Brian Johnson was the singer. Clockstander reminded me with his mention of ACDC.
I remember Geordie well and Brian Johnson taking over Bonn Scott after his death. I remember Ian White joined Lennon, a Ferryhill lad who was a good mate of my mate another drummer who used to live in the White Horse pub. Don't want to name the lad like..
