I'm calling bullshit. Nothing the Allams have done gives any credence to selling up. Ehab now is so enamoured with football so why would they sell. .Made 20 million and some group tax benefits anarl. The futures bright and they're running it well and making money. The name change will be on the agenda soon. I've said before with FFP i think it was a way for the Allams to get round it somehow, dont ask me how.
David Burns ‏@bbcburnsy Seen the rumour about Hull City having being sold. Told that's not the case. Know no more than that at mo but will keep eye on it.#hcafc
David Burns ‏@bbcburnsy @tomspring7 I think you may be jumping the gun there, club aren't making any comment.
This^ is where i now stand. It does look like the Allams might want to leave this whole sorry mess behind them. I'm crossing my fingers,my toes and my arse cheeks, that this is the case. I am very wary though. I feel like the seven year old being offered a lift home from school, from a total stranger, proffering sweeties (or maybe silverware). I totally agree that the Allams shouldn't make any sort of statement whatsoever regarding the name change. Just let it drift away....
you ****s need to remember that you aren't share-holders, all you are really are scabs that part with your hard earned money to sing "city till I die" at 19:04 everygame. AA doesn't have to release **** unless it's true.
Yeah we're stakeholders not shareholders. What is a club without fans? Who would want to play for a team without fans? Who would sponsor a team without fans?
Possibly this rumour is the result of an article I read on t'internet (I can't relocate it, sorry) about Freddie Shepherd. In it, the author stated that Shepherd had asked Bruce to be Newcastle's manager when Honey Monster was managing Birmingham. It went on to mention the Ben Arfa transfer, (another Shepherd favourite), and the article concluded with the tongue-in-cheek suggestion that Sir Fred should buy City. The comments underneath the article went with this and, before a dozen posts were up, someone (who claimed to know the Shepherd's) said that he had heard a rumour this was true, and Shepherd was interested in buying the Tigers. Regardless, given that at least half of what you read on the sports pages is speculation and tittle-tattle, I don't know why anyone would give this story any credence. As for the Allam-haters on this thread, f** you.
Erm Asset stripping isn't what Assem Allam has been doing, it's the reverse and so by your reckoning he must be selling.
