Why would that make him not sell? People do up their houses all the time before they sell, its just done on a larger scale in business.
That's something like what i was trying to say. Makes perfect sense.

Exactly. People don't generally asset strip the asset they're trying to sell.
Agree, it's like owning a machine shop, buying a multitude of brand new and highly expensive CNC machines and then waving goodbye.
Obviously there is always the possibility that the Allam's could be made an offer which is too good to refuse, but until I hear or see something more definite then I'm more than happy with the Allam's and the way we're moving forward, and at great pace it has to be said!
I think you misunderstood my point.
Bruce and Allam obviously get on and he is allowed free reign as regards transfers etc. Will a new owner let him do the same? For me its a big worry that Bruce would leave sooner rather than later if he and the new owners don't have such a good working relationship.
That is a real concern of mine. I hope if it is true then the owners give him the respect the allams have
It seems like the "selling up" rumour is gathering some momentum.
Could this explain why the cash was splashed on transfer deadline day?
I hope so too. But I bet the odds aren't great that it would happen. Look how many other clubs get new owners and it all goes pear shaped.

There's an argument for both sides really. If it's someone who either understands football or appreciates that he doesn't (like Allam) then we could be ok
All we can say for sure is: whoever owns the club next, we don't know what they'll be like.
Basically it's like Schrodinger's cat. But with football owners
I'll repeat what I said on there then
With things like Twitter & the potential for mischief as the saying goes it only takes one match to burn a thousand trees.
Can't count the number of dead celebrities who have confounded twitter & are still going strong today
