This game will won of the first in a few years that I will be working whilst it is on. How i avoided this for so long, god knows but it will be hard not knowing the score probably until match of the day comes on!

that will take a lot of will power and no access to any tablets, PC's, TV's phones etc. Best of luck with that.

My daughter's boyfriend, a Newcastle fan, tells me that on the forum he uses most fans are hoping that the Magpies lose the next couple of games so that Pardew will get sacked. Let's hope that the same attitude affects the team as well! They have made a couple of decent additions though, Cabella and De Jong are both excellent players, but De Jong faces up to 4 months out with a groin strain so won't be playing against us.

I can't see anything other than a comfortable win for us on the 13th.

They were quite happy with him to the point of defending him when they finished 5th!!! We will thrash them again because they have a **** manager and Ba is not there anymore.

I think Pardews fate was decided the moment he sold Cabaye in the January window. He was their only consistent goalscorer and was sold without a decent replacement. Whether that was his doing or not is up for debate but he copped the brunt of the anger for it.

They are in disarray and i hope we can take 3 points from em.

Pardew has been found out. He's not a very good manager and he's out of his depth in the Premier League.

The club is full of mediocre European players bought on the cheap with the promise that they would deliver. The few that did, have gone. Ba, Cabaye and Ben Arfa to name three. The rest have been nothing more than average at best.

I'm hopeful re the 3 points but aware Saints have buggered this type of game up in the last couple of seasons (Sunderland anyone). Pardew is just a lightning rod for Ashley these days, worst ways to make money I suppose.

Expectations up due to the new boys I guess, nice to be looking forward to a game so much considering some of the stuff over the last three months.

Absolutely. The mere fact i can look at this game an consider myself disappointed with a draw speaks volumes to RK and the transfer window we've had. I too think Pardew is something of a lightning rod for Ashley but he certainly doesn't help his case at any point (let no-one forget his famous 'moving my head in the general direction of the opposing players head.)

He's far from the worst manager out there *cough 'arry unconvincing cough* but he seems to get mired in bullshit wherever he goes and it costs him the faith of player and fans.

Yes, but remember how well we played against Liverpool and had no luck against WBA. The moment you think a game is easy is the moment you lose. Newcastle could play into our hands by trying to come and play football...may be easier to score than against a team that comes for a 0-0 (but hopes to snatch one on the break).

People that expect us to thrash a middling team just because we played well and beat the last one we played amaze me. Football isn't that simple. Every game is different. Of course I hope we win this game, and we've got a good chance. But that's got nothing to do with beating West Ham. Too high when we win, too low when we lose.

SFC 6-0 NUFC

If Newcastle come to try and gain three points we'll thrash them.

If they come to draw 0-0, they'll maybe get what they are looking for.

It's the story of the past couple of seasons.

Looking back on the previous two matches at St Marys against Newcastle (2-0 and 4-0 wins), Pardew will be desperate to atone those results. He still hasn't taken a point from his old League 1 club.

They came to get a point last season....we won 4-0.
Jay Rod scored just before half time when we should of been winning 14-0....and he could of scored half of them!!
