The prospect of being bought out by British billionaires is obviously an exciting prospect and would potentially help elevate us to the next level which I see as being around the level of Everton.

The thing that does concern me is that not every buy out is successful and sometimes it can really cause animosity between staff, players, managers and fans. People wanting to buy a football club because it is flavour of the month but then later changing their mind, losing their passion and subsequently ruining the club.

You only have to look at other clubs like Leeds, Newcastle, Anzi and Blackpool to see that. There has been massive unrest at Newcastle for years and I couldn't bare with that kind of tension hanging over our club for years to come.

For the flaws that the Allams have the positives they bring are huge. They are fans of Hull the city and football club and have lived here the majority of their lives.

Their commitment, achievements and passion for the club is unquestionable.

The grass isn't always greener on the other side.

A decent offer? What would you put that at?? As Lewis says he has improved the squad and facilities and upgraded the academy hugely. I just cant see it myself.
There have been previous rumours on the healys that were all rubbish i would be surprised if they had changed their minds on football and city now

He did say if an opportunity arose. He would be interested in being involved again.

You hardly want a Chairman who is top of the pile who is irrational, not football savy, gambles on the safety of the club and passes the book.

I know the one of Healey's. The brothers have been offered the club several times by previous owners. They dont like football and dont see how buying City personally would benefit them. Some of the younger lot are City fans I will say but they have no say. They could've bought the club off Pearson for a snip of the price that Duffen and Bartlett bought it for

You could argue the complete opposite as there's 2 potential theories.

    1) Allam has spent all the money on the assets he can actually control, Players and Infrastructure. He can buy great players for the team to make them more attractive to a buyer whilst also improving training facilities and youth set up (which was a recommendation of Bruce I believe.

    2) and this is the more interetsing theory. People like OLM has said there's been talks for weeks and if the rumours are true then this is likely. The new potential buyers have probably said to Allam and the staff if you build it we will come. I.E. Similar to what Duffen and Bartlett did, Pearson was the front whilst Bartlett just sanctioned off. Wouldn't surprise me if this has happened over the last few weeks.

True but I suppose only time can tell at this point. People like OLM and Mr Hat have kind of given evidence of this potentially being true

They've given light to the news of a potential sale in the FUTURE being true. No dates, no names.

Also, I wouldn't believe a damn thing Hattie says...

Yeah I may be jumping the gun by putting stuff together but in times like this its what you've got to do. I'm on the fence but I'm trying to see how it could be true as I've contemplated reasons why it couldn't

They have no interests other than themselves and their bank balances. If they bought the club I would be in a genuine dilemma, more than the Allams have ever put me in regardless of their nonsense. No Hull City fan should want them at the helm.

Eddie and Malcolm have no interest in City, they never have had and they haven't now.

Makes perfect sense to me. Potential income is the key part of the value of the club. He has spent 20 or 30 million on assets which make it more likely we will stay in the premier league and get loads of money in the future.

Why would that make him not sell? People do up their houses all the time before they sell, its just done on a larger scale in business.

Agree, it's like owning a machine shop, buying a multitude of brand new and highly expensive CNC machines and then waving goodbye.

Obviously there is always the possibility that the Allam's could be made an offer which is too good to refuse, but until I hear or see something more definite then I'm more than happy with the Allam's and the way we're moving forward, and at great pace it has to be said!
