Dream target for the 2011/2012 Season

  1. Barely survive in 17th place, but Sunderland get relegated

  2. Mid-table mediocrity, but high-scoring double wins over Liverpool and Sunderland

  3. Relegated, but win a domestic cup and get Europa entry

  4. 7th place and into Europe, but Sunderland finish higher

  5. Top four and Champions League place, but Liverpool win the league and Carroll is top scorer

  6. Win the Premiership, but then go into administration and have to sell the whole squad

I dont see why it would matter more beating Sunderland and Liverpool? And relegation shouldnt be a concern next season, we are improving our squad this summer which should be sufficient to counter any "second season syndrome".

Top four and Champions League place, but Liverpool win the league and Carroll is top scorer, I wouldn't be arsed about Carroll or Liverpool if we finished in the top 4 and qualified for Europe.

100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000% this - it could set the club up for years and we can win a cup the following season. Sorted. Doesn't sound too difficult.....

And then we can sign Mario Gomez.

Top 8 and a good cup run (a semi would be nice).

None of those are my target really as they all have massive drawbacks except the Mackems getting relegated and us staying in the Prem League.

I wouldn't want the mackems to get relegated, I love having the derbies.

Easily let Liverpool win with Carroll top scorer....who gives a **** what they do, we'd be in Europe!

I can't believe anyone would be happy with a Prem win and then administration, that would just be completely pointless...i'd rather have long term survival than short term success and then bust!

I'd want the Mackems to finish above Liverpool too...
