That is why, I guess, some reports say we made a small net profit on the transfers, whilst others say we had a small net outlay.
Low costs gems from smaller clubs almost always come with a sell on bob , we can kiss any of those coming to us anymore goodbye . 15 million profit 2 seasons ago , and 15 million profit last season and we con a small team out of a million ...Huw is a fool on this one , we may yet be fined too.Amateur move onour part Im afraid .
You get what you pay. Other than Michu (which was a one off) all of our new signings are improvements on those sold/kicked out
Dai, we cant say that about Michu, I agree he didnt do it second season but no one not even you can say what he might of done with us this year. We can only guess. I was told about 3 or so weeks ago that the clubs accountants had told Huw that there was nothing left in the Larder and we couldnt or shouldnt be signing anything that would cost a good amount of money. Maybe that is why we did nothing at the end of the window. Only what i was told.
yes we can because he was not injured all the time and he became a liability of constantly breaking down in training. He is not having much luck with napoli either,
I'm still not sure how you can make that statement based on several of the 'better' players having only taken part for a few minutes. They may well be, they may not. Who knows? Hopefully they are. Some might say Monk is the first manager who has had a decent transfer budget and therefore should be amassing a better team, and he may well have done so. Time will tell. Hopefully he has. Would you include Emnes and Kingsley as better than Pablo and Ben? But why are you so negative about our previous successes? What motivates you to belittle the players who have given us some much joy and success over the past three season?
I'd compare Emnes v Pozuello and Montero v Pablo to make it a balanced assessment. Taylor I believe is more than good enough to replace Ben too.
Jesus H Kerrrist give it a rest. He's not belittling them, time you moved on Bob. A little paranoia's a good thing but don't get too carried away now.
Mate after the end of the season if he has failed, then the signs dont look good for him and he may well end up back here. Lets see what he does. You may well be right.
Yep, Emnes is better than Pozuello and Montero is better than Pablo. In time, with games, Taylor will get back to his best too
But you can't label him a one season wonder based on injuries. Now, had he played all season and was pants, then you'd have a case to argue imo.
