We have a larger squad this season which should help us cope with the additional game we have in Europe.

So with Europe in mind what changes do you think Rodgers will make for Champions League games?

well i hope he tells gerrard to choose.... you want CL or prem as your game per week... then works according. I would say TELL gerrard but the reality is the reality so whats the point failing to acknowledge it.

I would half expect to see us start against thsi bunch of unknowns with the 4-1-2-1-2 formation personally and go for the big win to get us all up for it.... then tone it back for league... and yes drop gerrard for one or other..

I'd have to say that i'd be looking at full backs as well as if rodgers brings f'n johnson back the same story would be true but also moreno is only 20 so some protection via using enrique is no harm

After that i would say that sturridge is one player i'd look at resting/ giving only 70mins to as well.

If you rest Studge- do you play Ballo alone with one up top- or Ballo and Lambert together?

Did he not go on loan? At one point he was linked heavily with a loan move somewhere... did it not happen?

  6. I wouldn't drop him for one or the other as you suggest. I'd look to rest him as much as possibly at the appropriate times. Take him off early, rest against the so called lesser sides, don't play him in the FA or League Cups and let him rest rather than train.

I think at one point he was offered on loan as part of the Moreno deal. He didn't go though.

Apparently we're in talks with Milan over small compensation for Suso in January to avoid the tribunal and everything. Sad to see him go, think he will be a star, but honestly with Coutinho, Sterling, Markovic, and Lallana able to play that role it's a bit crowded for him there. Not to mention Tex coming back and all that. I'm disappointed but maybe his career will take off and we'll buy him back one day. He deserves to be playing IMO and Milan are a good level for him.

Can't we just send him on loan? He's a great player who deserves a shot. I'd rather him than Allen. Give him a run in the COC

His contract's up next year so he'll be free to discuss terms in January. We're entitled to nothing but tribunal compensation but that's in the area of a few million given his relative skill level.
I'd rather keep him over Allen too but honestly don't see it happening.

I think personally the issue is he is a top little technical player but he just hasn't got a "best position" YET. i just feel he is too good to lose like this but wont be good enough if he goes so i hope to god we agree a buy back fee.

oh and i don't see him box to box so i wouldn't compare to allen... he'd suit a 4-3-3 right side which would put him direct competition with say sterling or markovic

I'd like him to play instead of Coutinho at the top of the diamond, he could also get game time in the Coca Cola Cup. I say keep him and give him a goo good player imo.
