I went to the Lakes a couple of years back, we were camping and guess what...it ****ing pissed it down Tent was in a puddle, had to unpitch and move to a hill Only went for a couple of nights though so didn't see anything other than the camp site (it was a Haven site so used their facilities rather than getting wet) which is why I want to go back.
Yeah, since I went a few people have told me it rains a lot Was considering Wales but the weather concerns me with there too.
Round the Pickering area is boss and there's plenty of places within a sensible distance to go and see / do. Scarborough's only half an hour away
The mrs (nm) suggested Scarborough area to me earlier TBH, I'm not too bothered where we go so long as its not bloody Skeggy or Blackpool, hate those places!
Scarborough's ace for the kids, Whitby is ace as well, but Filey is my favourite. Filey brigg is amazing

I see the " Asian dating" web ad a lot too... no clue where I've been that it thinks I want to date Asians.
