Had an accumulator running last night that would have bagged me £1300 if Sturridge had scored the first goal. I knew Rooney would take free kicks and penalties so did consider him....but opted for Studge. He should have scored! I will be extremely critical of his finishing from here on in. That is all.

This is pretty much it tbh. It was a free bet too! never expected it to get to the sturridge stage so was a bonus bit of excitement in an otherwise dull game. Still, had he stuck one of his chances away............
