its the club they were at between the ages of 16-21 not the country. If I'm correct Meyler was at Cork whilst Brady was at Man Utd

Liverpool and Man City have both registered 59 players in their U-21 Premier League squads, bloody ridiculous.

Wonder how many of those youngsters will ever see first team action other than Maguire and Robertson. I would like to see Margetts get a chance in a cup

I'd like to see max Clark get some time. Sadly just don't think it'll happen. He'll be one of those to show such promise an end up playing out a semi pro career due to never being given a chance.

It's good to have a full 25-man senior list where we actually had to plan it with transfers in/out to stay at the limit, and be balanced, along with a few in the U21 group who're either key players already or developing with real potential to break into the first team.

Having an effective 27-man squad with some real depth should help as the season progresses, rather than a starting eleven plus reserves. Really shows what the money gained from staying up more than 1 season can do in the hands of a good manager and a board willing to spend some.

Which part? The one where if you're trained in a country you count as being grown in that country or the bit where if you're not you don't?

I reckon the likes of Clappison, Clark and Topliss all have bright futures in the game, hopefully it'll be with Hull.
