I wondered that too... I'm guessing it may not have been a Liverpool fan... Although it might... maybe someone rates him that highly. If it were a WUM surely it would be GJ who got the vote.
I cast the first vote for Balotelli. Sterling and Sturridge close seconds. Balotelli has more in his bag (than just nuts) if he puts his mind to it.
And I cast the 2nd vote for ****s and giggles after seeing the furore that someone dared vote for him. Livtor casting the first really doesnt suprise me. If I was voting seriously it would be Sterling.
Give them a chance, soon as they know there's a thread on the Liverpool board they've missed, they'll be all over it
I don't think we can play without either Sterling or Henderson. For me, these two are absolutely key. I wouldn't say he's our best player but I would like to take this opportunity to say how much I really like Allen. I think he's a cracking footballer - technical and intelligent. I don't think fans truly appreciate what he gives to the team - he may not have the hollywood balls, or the crunching tackles but he's so efficient and effective. Flair players need workhorses like Hendo and Allen. Not only this - he's got a nasty streak in him. He may be slight but he loves to get stuck in and he'll get involved in a scuffle as well. Combine that with some cynical and tactical fouls. Also, the way he exaggerated the contact in the box to win the penalty was almost Suarez-esque. Could be a really important squad player for the years to come.
yes you guys are probably right. henderson and sterling are key players but perhaps sturridge and/or badontelly will be views so before long this year.. it was really suarez last year or lovern... or moreno...
I voted for Sterling but Studge might have got the vote if he wasn't so fragile. Most important probably Henderson with Sterling & Studge just behind. Hendo gets it though as he appears to be the one we cant replace adequately though that may not be the case following the summer signings but i can't see an obvious replacement
I'e gone for Sterling - he's 19 (or is he 20 now?). But for someone that age to have the ability he has shown now on a consistent level is incredible, posibly the best yougster in European football - I think I saw a poll that put him at the top. Put it this way if he keeps improving we've got a worldie on our hands. He can play all across the front three, he's even played RB and done a god job. Rodgers has to take a lot of credit for his development, but he is class. His vision, speed, strength, agility, scoring ability, passing - is all spot on. If playes like Di Maria etc are going for 60mil at their age - Sterling is already a £50mil player. Just think 18 months ago people wanted him out on loan and Ibe to be given his chance. One of many reasons I have so much faith and trust in Rodgers, and his judgement of players and the game in general. And to think most Utd fans think Junanji (sp?) is better
