Wilshere <whistle> , Sterling, Sturridge had ok first half, everyone else has been the usual dross. Norway look more likely to score

Match sounds bloody awful,I wouldn't waste ninety odd minutes of my life watching it.

Lets just hope LFC players get back uninjured

Apart from his dive earlier.... <whistle>

Sturridge & Sterling linked up a couple of times. Sturridge should have scored 1 of his 2 chances that Sterling created (nice backheel and a lovely cross from deep into space)

Defence have been untroubled, Norway offered nothing going forward.

So glad we sacked Roy. Such a dull play style and a negative manager

    Rooney scored a pen.

Sterling got fouled in the area.

To be fair I think it was a "get out the way of the challenge" dive knowing it was a friendly and not wanting to get hurt.

SAS look sharp. Sterling won the pen. Hendo looks solid as deepest midfielder.
Studge had a head injury (minor though), so naturally Roy takes off Rooney to rest and Studge has to play the whole 90.
Nvrmind, Studge just been subbed, only had to play 88!

  15. Was it well spent couple of hours avoiding this game?

  16. What was the attendance tonight? The glimpse I saw the stadium look empty!

Edit: "Crowd of 40,181 - a record low for the new Wembley"

**** that's ****. However, thats what happens when you play a average team on a school night, attempt to charge £60 a ticket and the side has a reputation for playing very dull, boring and unsuccessful football.

20,000 of those were free tickets for the "football family"

I see England managed a hefty 1-0 penalty win over the mighty Norway. Guessing it was an exciting game, too bad I was out doing something else

  19. The FA are stupid. Why not sell tickets at half price encourage people to attend? A full stadium would provide a better atmosphere and give people the chance to attend that wouldn't normally get!

    40k at £60 = £2.4m

    90k at £30 = £2.7m

I read somewhere they were doing tickets cheaper to be honest but the timing is all wrong. they were doing reduced family tickets, but on a day where most kids are going back to school that day and the following day hence up early on Friday <doh>
