I agree. Block off a period of time in January and a period of time in Summer. Get all the international stuff done in those two breaks- and leave the rest of the year completely free of any international fixtures.
Here you go, my reply from our board so you don't have to go all the way over there to find it Nope He's just saying Welbeck is likely to get more game time with us. He also goes on to say how good it will be for Welbeck to be playing CL football, so if he was having a dig at arsenal there then he goes on to have a dig at utd. I just think he doesn't choose his words very well lol
Obviously, I posted this above but it was done in jest. Hodgson as a love in affair with Man Utd and particularly with his bestie Ferie. Its part of the reason he was disliked at Anfield. He actually rates the Man Utd team much higher than he should. In reality, Welbeck faces more attacking players ahead of him at Arsenal than he did at Man Utd. In short, I was taking the piss out of Woy
You do surprise me with that revelation : Woy is just a bumbling disaster, his squad picks, his team selection, his tactics and most of all saying the wrong thing. He has terminal case of stupid speak. You're right I don't think he chooses his words very carefully, in fact I don't think he chooses his words at all they just seem to blurt out.
Woy's a bumbling idiot. He'd be harmless if it wasn't for the fact that people inexplicably keep giving him positions of power to balls up. Surely Welbeck will be wellback down the list at your place?
They are either putting the players through some really tough regime at Arsenal or they've got some crappy over reactive doctors down there.
Out of the frying pot into the fire... Maria, Shaw, etc instantly getting injured... Falcao has survived LVG without injury though.
With that team, play 433 and mean you end up with 1 of Rooney/Sturridge out wide which is no good, and Sterling wide when his best form recently has been centrally. Would Roy dare go to a 442 with a diamond? If so, you can play Rooney & Sturridge upfront (Sturridge has looked better for us when he's had a partner last year and this year). You then have to have Sterling at the top of the diamond and that suits him. From Ox, Wilshire & Hendo, unfortunately you have to have Henderson in the defensive role as neither of the other 2 are defensive at all. Stifles Henderson's athleticism though.
You can tell Stones isn't a RB. Plays in a similar way to Kelly when he goes forward. Gets there and isn't sure what to do so either crosses or passes back/sidewards. Once he's made the pass, he's not on the move into the area looking for a 1-2 either.
Im bloody ace at predictions. If you had told me before kick off one team would be winning at half time I would have said Norway
