    Anyone watching this 'attractive' friendly?

I see Hodgson has picked a team with players playing out of position from their club positions. I can't understand Stones at right back when we've others not picked who are good enough. It just underwhelms me.

Perhaps Norway can give us the lowdown on our visitors tonight?...

I'll be watching. Not much to tell Sooper, we're going through a change in personel, from old to young. Some exciting talent, very different from what's been produced in the past. 8 Nordtveit, 15 Skjelbreid and 10 Elyounoussi are pretty decent. All playing in Germany which is a good thing for their 'education'.

Not at all excited by this game. I'm only watching it because my brother has come over for it.

I think it's all down to who is manager and we've got a ****ing boring one who has tactics from the 1940s.

As someone who has been to quite a few England games in past couple of years I can't believe the FA are pricing this game so ridiculously. If they'd had tickets for £25 and kids go free it would've been a sell-out, no foresight at all with that lot.

As you say Shefford, no-one's interested anymore...

No, 15 year old Ødegaard isn't involved tonight, though he is definitely good enough. Dæhli is playing.

Norway have come to park the bus and look pretty poor. England are playing ok considering good old Roy reverting to the old fashioned 4-4-2.
Norway are actually being quite dirty. Sterling is an outstanding talent.

    England looking good

Norway look useful and very compact and solid on balls in the box ... They could nick this and will be a good side in the future

Norway are poor. Not dirty though. All pride has gone from the England team, a bunch of divers just like the Italians and Spain.

    Townsend called them modest
I disagree easy to see they have a plan to contain and I suggest they are doing that ... Not jumping in against a talented England is very mature
No they haven't been good attacking but containing very good IMO and its 0-0 . Idiots on radio on way home saying 4-0 nil
Norway doing well but maybe if one goes in it may change
No excuses for England here and it looks good in places but expect a few moans if they don't break through
At the moment they are young and promising but a top team would walk through England IMO

Bunch of divers? You're entitled to your opinion mate. Plenty of pride on show imo.

Very hard to break down a side who's main aim is not to lose at this level.
Stones looks good. Baines and Henderson are not international players imo.
Barclay, lallana and Walcott to come into the squad. We'll be good going forward and better against teams who open up a bit.

I agree. England need to find a class holding player and have the balls to leave Rooney out sometimes.

Gonna be hard to leave Rooney out after making him captain, typical of Hodgson's short-sightedness and lack of adventure, we will stagnate as long as he's in charge...

One goal and a win is on the cards

Great not to see Gerrard Cole and Lampard

Sterling needs to be playing where Rooney is IMO
