Can't wait to see it in use. It's just so nice to be confronted by a grandstand rather than a hole or a construction site!
I was looking at the east stand progress and noticed the advertisements. There are two for Orbital fasteners, two for debt help and ALL the others are for gambling. I thought Watford FC was a family and community club.
The oribital fasteners are for the kids to play with, the debt help for overspending mothers and the gambling for Dads. Seems perfectly family oriented to me
While Baz had his mitts on the club, most of the adverts were for solicitors. Maybe they were put up in lieu of payments.
See that some of the hoarding boards have come down today in the NE corner and you can see what is behind them. Arh, it's a building site. More soil removed and more concrete laid today in the SE corner. Guessing that it will not be long before more steelwork is erected.
I believe the company responsible for the public address system have worked really hard to replicate the other three stands, as equipment of that quality is not available any more.
Saw that but still want to see steel............. British Steel........ saw some geezer walking in front of the rookery but no steel....
"OK yous guys, show me the colour of your steel! Oh... it's a sort of steel colour..." You know very well, Aberdeen, as soon as the steel is up you'll be demanding the concrete staging, when that's in you'll crave seats, and cladding, and yellow edges on the steps... there's no end to this time lapse cam addiction.
When it's (the stand) finally up you might want to consider watching it in fast motion to get the full hit that you previously had.
Icing on the cake, footballers on the pitch, Garcias hornets scoring 10 in first match in front of newly opened stand and a nice bottle of chianti classico......
