Very good plan Archers. I'll pretend I'm desperate to watch then give in gracefully.

It'd be brilliant if the England women's team get a bigger crowd for their friendly (first ever) at Wembley in November. Now there's an England team I'm happy to support.

I will watch...my capacity for suffering is infinite. Anyway, England don't have the power to hurt me the way Saints can. I think Forren is a fine one to talk...compared to him, Taider is due a testimonial.

Hodgson is a **** manager. I won't be watching England again until he is sacked.

Ha ha! I'll pass the wife the controls at 7:55 saying, " No, sweetheart, you watch your bake off thingy, I don't mind".... Secretly watching it while pretending to be on the lap top, looking for some nice buns :)

Commentary: on the bench we have Fraser Forster, who must surely be attracting the attention of Liverpool. He's a teammate of Tottenham target Morgan Schneiderlin, who is playing against Spain in a friendly.

    Is that right?

Yes, Andy. England are without another Totenham target, Jay Rodriguez.

Oh. Who do they play for then?

Not sure. Some south coast team.

Good chance for Rooney. No. No. He was distracted I think. There was an old slapper behind the goal.

I won't be watching, but I will be hoping that Norway can make Roy & the sponsor boys sweat, they don't deserve any support, should consider themselves very lucky to get 30K tonight.

As if my frustration could not grow any further Hodgson selects Joe Hart. What's the point? The chap is clueless

The talent is there, the effort is there, it's the organisation which is terrible

Roy obviously hasn't seen the Man City v Stoke highlights. My cat would have kept that goal out.

People keep saying Hodgson is clueless and keeps picking rubbish players I look at his options and pity him. Look at the choices for centre backs, I think the Premier League and their massive spending sprees are the main cause to England's downfall, not helped by television and the FA.

He does have a choice at right back though, and he's completely clueless if he thinks Stones is the man to try there rather than Clyne.

It keeps him out of the spotlight so good for Saints if we want to keep him, but Clyne must be gutted, watching the dross that gets picked ahead of him.
