    All this paper talk is nonsense, as proved by the Falcao deal that NONE of the press had a whisper about it until deadline day.

    Can't remember the exact year, but SAF commented that in the transfer window over 100 players were listed in various papers were going to sign for United. I think they were correct on three. Press release. Best taken with a pinch of salt.

    There used to be a poster on BBC 606 who called himself Proud Scouse. I asked him whereabouts in Liverpool he came from, and he admitted he wasn't even born in England. But he insisted he was "a scouse" because being "a scouse" was a state of mind, an attitude, rather than a demonyn. Some piss-taking, Liverpool-supporting friend of the family told him so.
